I need to start posting more on here so I can erase my jobber status. It's cool that they think I'm talented enough to put over the ones they want to push. But a run or two with the IC or US title would be nice at some point.

Is there a certain era you're focusing on or just watching everything from the decade. They went through a ton of changes over that time.

At one of the local wrestling promotions in Seattle there is a group called the Hell Fire Club (CFH backwards...). Their logo is the Cowboys From Hell CFH... backwards, and their shirts have their names on it in the Pantera font XD

I've been really digging the stuff posted on the You Tube page, Rassle Reel. Old school wrestling from the late 70's to the Monday Night War era. Not my YouTube Channel, but one I would certainly recommend.

5weve been watching pretty much everything 1988-1999 WWF.

I just talked her into watching WCW. Hoping to lure her into ECW at some point.

Only show her ECW off of Non WWE ripped YouTube videos....there's nothing more depressing than watching The Sandman or New Jack coming out to generic rock/hip hop tracks, rather than "Enter Sandman"/"Natural Born Killaz"

The original ECW might be a bit disappointing to watch now. A lot of it hasn't aged well. It was more of a right time, right place company.

I would agree somewhat with that, but I think a lot of that is due to half of what made ECW great was the presentation of it, and the WWEized clips of ECW has stripped half of that away from them, leaving only the in ring stuff, and, yeah, that was probably the weakest part of ECW, barring some notable exceptions.

Oh yeah, I know better than to watch the WWE Network versions of stuff. For example, we just watched the infamous Bash At The Beach 96 in full.

I grew up loving wrestling. I was even at Starcade 94 in Minneapolis. I grew out of wrestling slowly, but surely in 2000 after Mae Young gave birth to a rubber hand. I watched a bit after but stopped completely before WCW and ECW went under in '01.

She grew up watching Taker, Bret Hart Shawn Michaels. She hated Stone Cold at the time because it reminded her too much of people she knows. Now she finds him funny.

I'm trying to show her all the stuff she missed. She finally said ok to WCW today for the first time. So I'm slowly brining her back to being a mark.

2001 was probably the right time to stop watching. Granted, the in ring stuff has improved since then, but as for the shows themselves.....
