Just got home from watching Wrestle Kingdom 11 in a mini-theater. OMFG. I felt like a twelve year old that just saw his first pair of boobs! What a great show, especially the main events. I am going to call it now and say that the main event is my MOTY. Done. It gets ALL THE STARS out of 5 stars, even if the outcome wasn't what I had hoped.
Skipped the pre-show because whatever lol
Singles Match
Tiger Mask W vs. Tiger The Dark
- Fun match. Nothing mind blowing, ACH and Ibushi hit their spots.
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match
Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) vs. Roppongi Vice (Beretta & Rocky Romero)
- This just felt like an opening NJPW PPV match. It was good for what it was, and the finish was really clever, but overall did not do a whole lot, and I'm a HUGE Young Bucks mark.
NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Title Four Way Gauntlet Match
David Finlay, Ricochet & Satoshi Kojima (c) vs. BULLET CLUB (Bad Luck Fale, Hangman Page & Yujiro Takahashi) vs. CHAOS (Jado, Will Ospreay & YOSHI-HASHI) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, EVIL & SANADA)
- This was a pretty cool match. Some really insane spots involving members of all times. So stoked to see LIJ pick up the belts and take over New Japan! Highlight though... the women that came down with the Bullet Club... .... holy shit..... the bunny....
Singles Match
Cody vs. Juice Robinson
- Very forgetful match. Nothing really happened. Juice has come into himself pretty well, but Cody just felt like he was just there. Sure he's in the Bullet Club... but there was very little that actually connected him to them.
ROH World Title Match
Kyle O'Reilly (c) vs. Adam Cole
- I honestly REALLY dug this match, and I wish it would have went on longer. Really good spots from both guys. I'm honestly bummed to see Cole get the belt back already, but I guess O'Reilly didn't resign with ROH, so makes sense.
IWGP Tag Team Title Three Way Match
Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) (c) vs. CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) vs. Great Bash Heel (Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma)
- I hate Toru Tano, so much. I can't stand his character, and the fact he picked up the win here really pissed me off  . This was a fun match though for what it was. Wish there was more Ishii, and I guess Yano was entertaining :hmm: .
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title Match
KUSHIDA (c) vs. Hiromu Takahashi
- This is where shit started to get real. Holy balls this was a phenomenal match. Yes there were A LOT of botches, but I honestly felt that it added more to the match. I thought KUSHIDA broke his neck or something, goddamn he took some gnarly bumps. After the match was over I thought to myself "Yeah... how can THAT be topped?"
NEVER Openweight Title Match
Katsuyori Shibata (c) vs. Hirooki Goto
- SOoOOOOOoooooooooooooOOoooooooo good! Jesus these guys were kicking the absolute SHEYOT out of each other. What the fuck!? Some of those shots hurt me. Great story told, and just.... stiff. Yay for Goto finally getting a win!
IWGP Intercontinental Title Match
Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
- Definitely the bummer of the "4 main event" matches. It was good for what it was, and I wasn't really expecting a whole lot, but it definitely lacked compared to the two matches that took place before it. Good finish though.
IWGP Heavyweight Title Match
Kazuchika Okada (c) (w/Gedo) vs. Kenny Omega
- I'm not going to tell you anything that you don't already know. Absolute beautiful match. Hands down the best match I have seen in my entire life. It had action, pacing, drama, INSANE spots. How did these two guys walk out on their own feet?! I was jumping out of my seat multiple times. The false finishes were just painfully good. Yeah, JUST WATCH THIS MATCH IT'S SO GOOD!!!
Really bummer that Omega didn't pick up the win, but I cannot wait for a rematch, or SOMETHING. Yes it was long and drawn out at times, but every second was damn worth it.
Anyway. Mark out moment over. Amazing PPV. No wonder so many people have disowned WWE after watching such a great show. I hate "star ratings", but I'd give this whole show 5 stars because it flowed so well and brought so much drama.
