Yea I think all the songs from Hardwired.... will show up at some point by the end of this year/into 2018.

I just hope they on occasion dust off stuff like Disposable Heroes and The Shortest Straw

I've seen them do Disposable Heroes twice before live. I've also seen them do Shortest Straw

I'm pretty sure they'll rotate a handful of songs around each set like they did on the last tour once this tour really gets going.

When I saw them twice on the World Magnetic tour I got great sets, but also jealous at the previous stop before mine got songs I wanted;

2008: Before Denver, They Played Disposable Heroes in Salt Lake City

2009: Before San Jose, they pull out Shortest Straw in Anaheim

So just really bad luck in being a show behind seeing some of my favorite songs

That's the negative side of bands who shuffle up the set every show. While it's cool to be a little surprised by what they'll play, it can also be a letdown if the show before or after yours got a song or songs that you really wanted to hear. That's why I don't mind it that a lot of bands keep the same set for a whole tour. At least everyone gets the same songs so they don't feel slighted.

The worst thing is uneven trades. Lets say they played And Justice For All the night before and then at your show they play something like Holier Than Thou instead.

I totally agree on the luck of shuffled sets in that you can get greatness or disappointment in a set. I wish sometimes Lars would stumble upon our dream setlist thread on the other forum and somehow become inspired but that ain't happening

The St. Anger Tour was my first time seeing them, starting with Summer Sanitarium 2003. That tour they did not change a song on that set but it was a great intro for me for the old and couple of the new songs. I did also see them in 2004 when they really were switching up songs left and right and dusting off really old and obscure songs. I will say I got a pretty good set but this is the time around when Dyer's Eve came out of the shadows so in hindsight I could bitch about that.

One thing I've always felt about St. Anger is it is a very flawed album with the infamous production. But in a live setting those songs are killer
