Filmed on January 12th, 2013
Aired on April 5th, 2013
From the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida
Commentators: Mike Teney and Taz
Tonight current and former X-Division stars come together and take center stage for ONE NIGHT ONLY. Ultimate X returns and Austin Aries meets Samoa Joe in the main event.
Top X-Division Moments: when AJ Styles won the first X-Division Title on June 19th, 2002.
Top X-Division Moments: the first Ultimate-X Match on August 20th, 2003.
X-Division Xcape Match
Matt Bentley vs. Alex Silva vs. Lince Dorado vs. Sam Shaw vs. Puma vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Christian York
So it seems this is an Elimination Tornado match until it's down to the final two guys, when it becomes an escape the cage match. I like tattoos. I have tattoos. But Sam Shaw's sleeve is fucking terrible. It's like he bought enough ink for whole body but decided to stick with the arm. This match had some decent stuff in it but was nothing special.
Winner: Christian York
Top X-Division Moments: the Ultimate-X match from Victory Road 2008 on July 13th, 2008. Kaz did a crazy leg drop.
Jeremy Borash is backstage with Rashad Cameron and Anthony Nese, who face Doug Williams and Kid Kash tonight in an "old school verses new school match". They plan on proving that they are the future of the X-Division.
"Old School verses New School"
Kid Kash & Douglas Williams vs. Anthony Nese & Rashad Cameron
This match wasn't half bad. I've always thought Kid Kash sucked. Douglas Williams’ finisher the Rolling Chaos was pretty awesome though.
Winners: Kid Kash & Douglas Williams
Top X-Division Moments: Samoa Joe winning his first X-Division title at Turning Point on December 11th, 2005. Remember when they had a heel entrance tunnel and a face entrance tunnel? I'd forgotten that.
Jeremy Borash is backstage with Samoa Joe. He says he started in the X-Division because he'd do anything to win and tonight he will choke Austin Aries out.
Robbie E vs. Chavo Guerrero
Special Guest Referee: Joseph Park
I've seen so many Chavo Guerrero matches that one on a bad show like this does nothing for me.
Winner: Chavo Guerrero
Video package showcasing some of the craziest moves of the X-Division.
Jeremy Borash is backstage with Kenny King, who will compete in Ultimate-X tonight. He says he's not afraid and he will prove he isn't the future of the X-Division; he's the present.
Video package highlighting the past Ultimate-X matches.
Ultimate-X Match
Zema Ion vs. Rubix vs. Kenny King vs. Mason Andrews
WTF was up with Kenny Kings music at this show? Did they accidentally play Eric Youngs entrance music? I liked this match because Taz made a lot of fun of Rubix's past as an electrician. It was like he was making fun of me (I’m an electrician). This match was really good when it got going. It was far from the best Ultimate-X match but compared to the rest of the card leading up to it it was. The ending was kinda dumb though.
Winner: Kenny King
Top X-Division Moments: Brian Kendrick beat Abyss for the X-Division title from Destination X on July 11th, 2011. I guess he brought the X-Division title back to the X-Division that night?
So Cal Val is backstage with Bad Influence who are gonna win their match or something?
Jeremy Borash is with their opponents Sonjay Dutt and Petey Williams.
Looking back at AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels long-standing feud in the X-Division.
Bad Influence vs. Sonjay Dutt & Petey Williams
This match was actually really good. Daniels and Kazarian (that's who Bad Influence were) we're as solid as ever but Dutt and Williams really put on a good show. No Canadian Destroyer though. LAME!
Winners: Bad Influence
After the match everyone brawls and Petey hits a Canadian Destroyer! Whoo-whoo-whoo.
Review of the long-term feud between Rob Van Dam and Jerry Lynn. Y'know, even with all that TNA footage I can't help but feel like some stuff may have gotten left out. *eyes*
No Disqualifications
Jerry Lynn vs. Rob Van Dam
That should be the entire write-up for any Rob Van Dam match in TNA.
But yeah, I've seen all their matches that people cream for and thought they were fine. But here we are fifteen years after their peak. Good on them though they put on a good match here tonight. But I've never been able to care.
Winner:
The entire roster comes out to salute Jerry Lynn, as this was a part of his retirement tour.
Top X-Division Moments: the night Austin Aries won a TNA contract at Destination X on July 10th, 2011.
Jeremy Borash is backstage with Austin Aries and he promises himself and Samoa Joe will deliver the match of the year tonight.
Final words from Jerry Lynn.
Top X-Division Moments: Austin Aries challenging for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Destination X on July 8th, 2012 and winning.
Recap of Samoa Joe verses AJ Styles verses Christopher Daniels from Unbreakable on September 11th, 2005. Where the fuck was AJ Styles tonight? He was still under contract to TNA. How could you have had an all X-Division show without...oh..."TNA"...
Austin Aries vs. Samoa Joe
This was a really good match but I think I've watched too much wrestling this weekend. My interest was waning at this point and I wasn't really paying attention. I have a hard time caring about Austin Aries.
Winner: Austin Aries

I was taken out of this show very early. They say a crowd can change the course and the mood of a show. Well this crowd looked like it was a school class trip that wandered in because they got lost on their way to the Back to the Future ride. So many disinterested faces. Is that how I look at Bon Jovi? There were times though when they actually looked interested. I was very confused. But the crowd looked times larger than the One Night Only: Joker$ Wild DVD I watched last night. And then there were times were they actually looked attuned into what was going on. I was so confused.
The commentary jumped back and forth between fine and really bad. Some matches Taz was joking and making too much fun of the product. The Robbie E verses Chavo Guerrero match was really the only joke match of the night but he got side-tracked a lot during Ultimate X and the Xcape matches, both of which were fine enough matches that didn’t deserve to be made fun of. He got on track for the last two matches. Teney was fine but I've always liked that guy.
Overall it was a fine enough show and was another I got from the Don West “Insane Brown Bag Special”. I’d never have paid full price for it but it was worth what I paid for the twenty dollar brown bag special.
Bonus feature: post match interviews with Christian York, Matt Bentley, Alex Silva, Jimmy Rave, Puma, Lance Dorado, Sam Shaw, Kid Kash & Douglas Williams, Rashad Cameron & Anthony Nese, Kenny King, Zema Ion, Rubix, Sonjay Dutt & Petey Williams, Jerry Lynn & Rob Van Dam and Austin Aries. I only bothered with Rubix's. It wasn't as odd as I hoped it would be.
