So I want to do something a bit different. Back on the old ~~Metal Setlists~~ board that we can't legally talk about people would do "Live Iron Maiden virtual concerts" where they would make a song list on their media player and... listen to music... I never understood that really (dammit, I was going to do a Christeene/Stitches virtual concert... whoops) but it gave me this idea....

Tomorrow night (Friday) I am going to watch PWG's 2007 show, "Holy Diver Down" and do a "live" review/discussion of it. Of course this board isn't that active so I don't expect many people to hop in, but it'll at least make reviews easier since I won't have to remember everything from the whole show

... plus what better way to spend a Friday night in Summer while being unemployed than sitting my room watching old wrestling DVDs!?!?

I don't know when I'll start it, I might have band practice tomorrow, so I'd imagine maybe around 8pm or 9pm PST... unless I do end up going out (which is about 99% unlikely)... yep! There is one match that I think I have on a PWG compilation that I am stoked to check out though.

I don't get this. We're supposed to somehow watch this show with you and review it as we're watching? That's how the virtual concerts on the old board worked. It wasn't just someone listening by themselves and commenting on it.

I see how this would work for a live show but some random one from 2007 not so much.

Oh... I was under the impression that it was just a dude listening to Iron Maiden and saying "OH COOL! THIS SONG IS NEXT!" I always found that silly because it's like... they'd make the playlist.... and... I dunno....

I'm looking more at "Yeah that match sounds lame" and "oh is it good?" and "Oh how fat is Kevin Owens back then?"
It's more so an idea for me to review shows easier since writing reviews for these old shows is difficult

The fun part of the virtual concerts is that you didn't know what song was coming next. Whoever was doing it would post the song and then you would listen along with whoever else was participating in as close to real time as you can get.

I don't think I've seen a show of theirs in this building yet. It's pretty well lit for a show from 2007.

Ricky Reyes is really good. He had a run in ROH as well, I think he was partners with Rocky Romero. I need to look into more of his work! Ronin so far has been meh. Not bad, but just seems like your average indy guy.

Overall really solid match, but the ending was weak. Scorpio Sky (I didn't know he used to wear a mask) came out and interfered causing Anderson to get a roll-up for the win.
